Alumni Guidance was provided to BA I year students by Shree. Umesh Chirade a student of English Literature of 2017 batch and currently an assistant teacher of English at Sitamai Arts College, Vidul. He taught grammar portion to the students and discussed tricks to build structures of tenses and sentences. The students enjoyed his lecture and responded with active interaction. Poetry Recitation Competition
Poetry Recitation Competition has been held for all students of the college with the objective to create interest among students on reading and reciting poetry and to take practice on rhythm and tone of poetry as a form of literature. Inter Collegiate Essay Competition on " Uses and Misuses of Social media and its Impacts on Life"
The competition was organised by the department with the motif to create opportunities for students in presenting writing skills and to test their current knowledge. 21 students from the affiliated colleges of Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University took part in the competition.SAmiksha Agrawal from V.N.Mahila College Pusad, Abhay Rathod from G.S.gawande College, Umarkhed and Rukhsar Anjum from Yashwantrao Chavhan Arts and Commerce College, Mangrulpir grab first , second and third prize of 1000/-, 700/- and 500/- respectively.

Soft Skill Workshop
The above activity is organized by the English Dept. to improve students employability Skills. Ten important topics are covered by the resource persons such as Motivation, Time Management, Goal Setting, Group Discussion Interview Skills and Resume Writing. 48 students were participated in the Workshop.

Guest lecture on “Communication Skills and Personality Development
Department of English has organized guest lecture on “Communication Skills and Personality Development” for Arts, science and commerce students on 26/04/2022 at 10.30 am. The chief aim of this expert lecture was to enhance the abilities of students when they step in the job market and to acquire them the basic traits that make their personality adorable. Prof. Rathod guided on all these aspects during his speech. The faculty members of Humanties were present at this occasion.

university level Soft Skill Development Workshop
The workshop on Soft Skill Development for UG and P. G. Students is useful to know the importance of Motivation, Time Management, Communication and Interview skill. The resource person Mr. Jitendra Barulkar presented in a simple language with suitable examples and Power Point Presentation on Motivation and Goal setting. Dr. R. Linet talks on self development – a key to excellence with the help of videos and ppts. Mr. Dhiraj Rahutiya speaks on the needs of softs skills in the age of artificial Intelligence. In last session of workshop participants discussed their quires with resource person The Principal, Dr. S. R. Vadrabade has delivered his opening address.Workshop is ended with the vote of thanks by the Head of the English Department, Dr. K. D. Bompilwar
