National Service Scheme for senior college students: Prof. Dr. M.B. Kadam & Prof. Arakh

Two hundred graduate students are eligible for the National Service Scheme. One hundred selected students can participate in an eight-day camp in a nearby village. All candidates that actively participate in this two-year program and the eight-day camp will be awarded with incentive marks. Additionally, certificates will be given to all active candidates. National Service Scheme for junior college students; Mr. C.P. Dhakate

GSG’s junior college received permission for a Nation Service Scheme in 2005. All junior college students are eligible for the N.S.S. Fifty selected students can participate in a ten day camp every year at nearby village. All candidates who actively participated in the two-year program and a ten day camp will receive certificates. National Cadet Cord: Captain Mr. S.R. Deshmukh:-

   N.C.C. program is available at GSG College. The following candidates were active participants in N.C.C. programs.

College Magazine/Wall Magazine:

GSG College’s magazine "Akansha" and wall magazine "Gawande darpan" are run by an editorial board consisting of staff and students who have a flair for writing. This allows them the opportunity of self-expression in Marathi, Hindi or English.

Matoshree Anusayabai Devsarkar Cultural Club: Mr Labhsetwar

The Cultural Club was established by the permission of the Cultural Ministry, Government of Indian in 2007.

Monthly Story and Poetry Competition: Prof. Abhay Joshi

The purpose of this competition is to instill a literary passion in GSG’s students. Excellent poems and stories are selected every month from the students’ literature.
