Objective
The primary aim of IQAC is
· To develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
· To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.
Functions:
Some of the functions of the IQAC are:
1. Development and application of quality benchmarks / parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of G.S. Gawande College, Umarkhed
2. Work as a nodal agency of the College for quality-related activities
3. Ensure enhancement and integration among the various activities of the College and institutionalize good practices
4. Organization of workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality culture
5. Development and maintenance of Institutional database through MIS
6. Build an organized methodology of documentation and internal communication
7. Documentation of the various programmes/activities at G.S.Gawande College leading to quality improvement
8. Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) and submit it to NAAC
9. Collection and analysis of feedback responses from students, Teachers, Alumni and other stakeholders on curriculum and overall aspect of the college.
